Welcome! My name is Cary Seaholm. I am an experienced therapist who has served the Tampa Bay area for 20 years. I work with individuals and couples. My specialty is divorce recovery, co- parenting and blended family issues. I previously served as a Family Law Mediator and understand the dynamics of therapy in the divorce context. My experience helps me listen, understand and help families address the real problems they face as they try to raise healthy children across households. I also understand and can help bridge the disconnect that sometimes exists between divorced parents and their children
Research shows that in the years after a divorce, the most poorly adjusted children are those whose parents involve them in continuing conflicts. Investing the time now will help you work together as parents which will ultimately provide a sense of stability for your children in the midst of this traumatic time. This course will empower you with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to promote positive communication, resolve conflicts constructively, and foster a nurturing environment for your children’s growth and development.
This course is designed to be accessible and accommodating. I teach the class one on one with the individual and/or the couple, this allows for personalized attention and flexible scheduling. I utilize a ZOOM format which makes the process user friendly and easy to navigate. This course meets the “in person” requirement, if needed.
