Meet Your Instructor

Cary Seaholm, LCSW

Hello and welcome.

My name is Cary Seaholm, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience serving individuals, couples, and families throughout Florida.

My areas of specialty include:

  • Divorce Recovery
  • Co-Parenting
  • Blended Family Dynamics
  • Family Conflict Resolution
  • Christian Counseling

I am also a former Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and understand the unique challenges families face during divorce and custody proceedings.

My experience allows me to help parents address the real-life challenges of raising healthy children across two households while minimizing the emotional impact that conflict can have on the family system.

My goal is not simply to help you complete a court requirement. My goal is to equip you with practical tools that strengthen families, improve communication, and help children thrive.

Why This Course Matters

Research consistently shows that the greatest predictor of poor outcomes for children after divorce is not the divorce itself—it is ongoing parental conflict.

Children are resilient. However, when they become caught in the middle of adult disagreements, loyalty conflicts, or ongoing litigation, the emotional impact can be significant.

The choices parents make during and after separation can either increase a child’s stress or provide the stability and security they need to adjust successfully.

Investing four hours today can help create healthier outcomes for your children for years to come.
